The annual conference is a key date in the ALERC calendar. As well as providing an interesting and topical programme of speakers it gives all LERC staff the opportunity to meet up with colleagues from across the country to discuss all the latest developments within the LERC sector and beyond.
Conference 2024: Raising StandardsThursday 17th October
10:00am to 4:30pm Birmingham. The ALERC 2024 Conference will be a fantastic opportunity for LERC (Local Environmental Records Centre) colleagues to reconnect and collaborate, especially in light of the increased demand for biodiversity data following the Environment Act 2021. With the role of LERCs being spotlighted, it's a timely moment for the LERC community to come together, share insights, and discuss solutions that help us all to continue to elevate the standard of our services. The Signing Tree in Birmingham, is well-suited for a collaborative and engaging conference, with its ample space for networking and workshops.. Check out the signing tree venue. The conference format, which includes workshop-style sessions akin to the successful ALERC Lunch and Learn sessions, promises to be both informative and interactive. ALERC is keen to see as many of you as possible and has therefore set a subsidised ticket price of £50 per person for ALERC staff and volunteers. |
