The morning session consisted of an address from the ALERC chair giving an update of the progress ALERC has made, talks on Current legislation affecting LRCs and on Data Flow. There then followed a series of Soapboxes where anyone could stand up and have their say. Several interesting points of view were aired and some good discussions were stimulated. This was the first time we had tried the soapbox format, and we hope it will return next year.
The afternoon was split into smaller workshop groups to discuss a particular subject and to draw some conclusions & recommendations which could be shared with the rest of the conference.
